Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 March 2026

eigin does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. We do not set any non-essential cookies. You will not see a cookie consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are used for a wide range of purposes: from keeping you logged in, to remembering your preferences, to tracking your behaviour across the web for advertising purposes.

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended) requires websites to tell you what cookies they use and to obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

What eigin.co does and does not do

eigin.co is a pre-launch landing page with a single function: collecting email addresses from people who want to hear when eigin launches. It is built with Next.js and served as a static page.

We do not set:

Our analytics are handled by Plausible Analytics, which is a privacy-first analytics service that uses no cookies and collects no personal data. It measures aggregate visitor counts and page views only. No individual user is tracked. No data leaves the EU. You can read Plausible's data policy at plausible.io/data-policy.

Strictly necessary technical functions

Like all web servers, our server logs basic request data (IP address, page requested, timestamp) to maintain the security and operation of the service. This is not done via cookies. It is standard server behaviour. These logs are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on server log data.

The waitlist form on eigin.co submits your email address directly to our server via a single API call. No session cookie or persistent identifier is set or stored on your device as part of this process.

Third-party content

eigin.co does not embed third-party content (no YouTube videos, no Google Maps, no social media widgets, no external fonts loaded from third-party servers). All fonts are self-hosted. No third-party code runs on this page except what is explicitly listed in this policy.

Your browser controls

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Since we do not set cookies that require your consent, this is unlikely to affect your experience of eigin.co. Information about managing cookies in common browsers:

Changes to this policy

If we introduce any new cookies or tracking technologies as the product develops, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before setting them. We will always err on the side of doing less, not more.
